Trans-Soft Integrates Pathfinder for Air Cargo Routing
Logistics and airfreight software provider Trans-Soft Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., announced that it has integrated its TS2000 Plus operational software with various functions of Pathfinder-XML, a Web services API (application program interface) created by Conducive Technolog

that provides critical information for making and monitoring air cargo routing decisions. Conducive Technology is a software development company that provides technology and information solutions for the logistics industry.
Trans-Soft has integrated various Pathfinder scheduling application program interfaces including timetable, direct schedule, dynamic routing and truck schedule searches. Pathfinder provides a scalable integration methodology, which allows Trans-Soft to closely integrate many APIs like schedules, routing and flight status, while at the same time offering single click-through access to the hosted Pathfinder-Web application. As a result, the customer experiences both tighter integration with mission-critical functionality and easy access to a world class decision support tool, all from within Trans-Soft’s TS2000 Plus database, which provides the internal productivity enhancements necessary to sustain and manage any significant growth within a company.
“Trans-Soft decided to work with Pathfinder due to the benefits made available to our customers from the integration of the two systems,” stated Dave Hockersmith, president of Trans-Soft. “We found that a number of our clients requested Pathfinder because of its ability to automatically update air and truck schedules – eliminating the need to manually load CDs or review often outdated books. Working with Pathfinder brings greater efficiency to our customers. Additionally, the program integration was complete within a couple of weeks and we found Conducive Technology very supportive and easy to do business with, making it the perfect partnership.”
