Manugistics will help optimize the flow of inbound and outbound goods across multiple transportation modes throughout a worldwide network of vendors, distribution centers, consolidation points and stores.
According to the announcement, Toys 'R' Us expects to enhance product flow to distribution centers, improve the complex routing of freight movements, and enhance communication with carriers through Web-enabled collaboration.
