Top 5 New Aftermarket Products To Be Recognized At HD Aftermarket Week
Suppliers of the five best products introduced into the aftermarket in 2006 will receive awards from Heavy Duty Trucking magazine in late January

The presentations will be part of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week’s Industry Awards Program on Wednesday, Jan. 24, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
Heavy Duty Trucking’s editorial staff judged the 2006 product introductions, based on their usefulness to truck operators. They must be innovative products that can be stocked by independent distributors and repair shops, and they must be able to be installed on all makes of trucks or buses.
The judges looked for products that will: (a) drive customers to parts and repair facilities; (b) create opportunities for those facilities to upsell customers on other parts and services, and (c) help those operations develop new customer relationships.
The winning products and their companies will be made public at the Las Vegas presentations.
Heading into its second year, HDAW will run from Monday, Jan. 22 through Thursday, Jan. 25. The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s Heavy Duty Dialogue will kick off the week with an all-day session Monday.
The rest of the week will feature a heavy duty aftermarket forum, one-on-one business meetings between distributor and supplier executives, business and technical theater sessions, a value-added selling session, a product exhibition and numerous networking opportunities.
Heavy Duty Trucking magazine, published by Newport Communications Group, also publishes the National Parts & Service Buyers Guide in its January issue, under agreement with HDAW.
