Software provider TMW Systems is enhancing services for customers who run TMW’s TL2000 truckload system on IBM AS/400 servers.
The Cleveland-based company has partnered with Add On Systems Inc. of Oklahoma City, a specialist in customized programming services and modules for the AS/400.
"The AS/400 is the platform of choice for a sizeable and growing number of truckload carriers," said Tom Weisz, TMW president and CEO. "With this agreement, TMW and Add On Systems bring together the skills and experience needed to provide the strongest, most complete AS/400 solution for companies committed to this platform.”
An enduring computer platform, the AS/400 was first introduced in 1988. IBM introduced the latest AS/400 iSeries model in 2000.
TMW also offers PowerSuite truckload software for the Windows client/server.
