The Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) recently announced its new leadership team for 2006-07. TMCA members elected the following two key groups of leaders at the association's recent
annual conference in Keystone, Colo.
TMCA officers include the following: TMCA president is Tom Nightingale, vice president communications and chief marketing officer, Con-way; immediate past president is John Ferguson, general manager of Canada, Schneider National Inc.; TMCA vice president is Edward Moritz, vice president of marketing, Con-way; treasurer is Mark Miller, director of corporate communications, Crowley Maritime Corp.; and secretary is Susan Terpay, director corporate communications, Norfolk Southern.
Nightingale of Con-way said, "I am honored to have been elected as president of this organization at such a prodigious time. We have just wrapped up our highest attended conference in history and hold the best cross-section of leaders the organization has enjoyed in over 50 years. Our strategic initiatives for the association are aggressive. Through a series of innovative offerings and through a broader and more vibrant membership, TMCA will become a staple in all transportation professional's annual development plan."
