The Transportation Marketing & Communications Assn. (TMCA) will hold its eighth annual conference and educational forum May 2-4, 2004, at the Miramonte Resort near Palm Springs, Calif.
The 2004 conference theme, "Creating the Edge," will help professionals leverage marketing, sales and communications strategies in order for their organizations to be more competitive in the marketplace.
This event will feature a broad agenda of interactive sessions, workshops and presentations supported by a unique line-up of keynote speakers, session presenters and facilitators for mid- to upper-level marketing and communications professionals.
Also on the schedule is an awards gala on May 4 to honor recipients of TMCA's coveted "Tranny" award. Call for entries for the 2004 awards program will be in December.
"This annual event is the ideal opportunity for marketing, sales and communications professionals to be exposed to new ideas and concepts that help them to be more effective in their jobs," said Ray Venturino, current TMCA president and assistant vice president of marketing for P&O Nedlloyd.
"It also presents an opportunity for practitioners to interact and exchange ideas with their industry peers in a friendly, relaxed and informal environment."
The conference registration fee is $495 for TMCA members and $690 for non-members who take advantage of the "early bird discount" and register before March 19, 2004.
After this date, the conference registration fee is $545 for members and $740 for non-members. The non-member rate also includes annual membership dues for a year. The registration fee for guests is $165.
To register for the conference, contact the TMCA offices at (952) 442-5638, Ext. 5, or visit the association's web site at www.TMCAtoday.org.
