Bill Patrolia, director of Iteris' North American truck sales, said TMC plans to install LDW on all new tractors beginning immediately and will retrofit most of its newer trucks in the current fleet.
The addition of TMC brings the total number of North American fleets that have standardized the Iteris LDW system to 44. These fleets have a combined total of more than 24,000 tractors.
Iteris has sold more than 35,000 LDW systems to the heavy-truck market worldwide representing an estimated billion miles traveled per year.
