The Tire Industry Association will for the first time host a TIA Pavilion co-located with the ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Trade Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 9-11.
The show gives attendees a chance to see the latest in tire technology from companies in the retreading and recycling industry.
Among the exhibitors:
* Demonstrations of the Lazy Loader Delivery Systems, which allows up to 56 truck tires (and16 tires in the rear compartment), or 52 medium truck tire and wheel assemblies (and up to 16 assemblies in the rear compartment) to be transported on "carousels," which can be lowered to the ground for ease of loading/unloading.
* ASA Tire Systems will be showcasing software tools designed to help tire dealers and retreaders manage e-commerce, order processing, accounting and business management needs of any size retail, wholesale or retread tire operation.
* Oliver Rubber will display samples of each of their latest retread designs and compounds, including the ULP Rib & Drive for the X-One ultra-wide base casings aas well as their newly developed envelope spreader.
* Tech International will feature tire repair materials, repair tools, wheel service products, retread products, vulcanizing equipment and more in their booth.
& Central Marketing has a complete line of new and used equipment for passenger, truck, and OTR markets. In their booth, they will be showcasing retread equipment from manufacturers such as the Matteuzzi RAS 98E Ultra buffing machine, which is capable of handling handle wide-base tires, such as the 495/50R22.5,
"This is the first year for the TIA Pavilion, and we are excited about offering show attendees the opportunity to see some of the best in retreading technology," said TIA executive vice president Roy Littlefield.
