The Tire Industry Association has entered into an agreement with Comdata Corporation to endorse the Comdata Maintenance Discount Network.
Under the new deal, TIA members have access to cardholders who use Comdata to pay for services such as tire repairs.
Comdata provides electronic payment solutions to commercial fleets across North America. Comdata's customer base includes light-duty and over-the-road equipment.
"With thousands of Comdata cardholders seeking maintenance facilities to service their vehicles, the opportunity for TIA members is significant," said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president. "Comdata offers our members the ability to be paid at the time of service, which eliminates the need for holding receivables and waiting up to 90 days for payment."
"We know our customers want to use the Comdata Card for maintenance purchases, so developing a network of maintenance service providers is critical for us," said Randy Morgan, executive vice president of sales for Comdata.
