The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), a leading trade association of third-party logistics (3PL) companies, has announced three new members of its board of directors. Jeffrey R. Brashares, vice chairman of commercial sales
for Pacer International, has been elected as the intermodal conference chair.
In addition, James R. DeMatteis, president of Iowa-based Des Moines Truck Brokers Inc., and Alan Klineburger, vice president agent of Delaware-based Trinity Transport Inc., have been chosen to serve as new at-large directors.
“We’re very pleased to welcome aboard these three exceptional individuals to help us guide TIA to the forefront of the transportation industry,” said Robert Voltmann, TIA’s president and CEO. “Each has been a long-time active and supportive member of TIA, so we’re looking forward to their participation on the board of directors and to seeing them demonstrate leadership for the third party logistics industry.”
