Thermo King will hold a Truck Stop Day event at three locations on Nov. 30. The events will take place at Petro Stopping Centers in Kingman, Ariz. and Fargo, N.D., as well as the Flying J truckstop
in Dade City, Fla.
The Truck Stop Day event is being held to increase awareness and demonstrate Thermo King’s new TriPac Auxiliary Heating/Cooling Temperature Management System.
The TriPac system allows drivers to reduce unnecessary truck engine idling, conserve diesel fuel and save money while providing truck engine preheating, battery charging, truck cab sleeper compartment climate control and electric power.
At each event, truck drivers will have the opportunity to see Thermo King’s TriPac system in action. Local Thermo King dealers as well as Thermo King corporate district sales managers will be available to answer questions and lead the demonstrations. Visitors participating in the demonstration will receive coupons worth up to $325 in discounts with the purchase of a TriPac unit. Each location will also have complimentary giveaways.
A major benefit of Thermo King’s TriPac system includes increased fuel savings while the truck is idling; the TriPac reduces unnecessary fuel consumption by more than 85 percent while allowing drivers to rest in comfort. Customers can also benefit from less engine wear and extended maintenance intervals.
