Theresa Spera has joined the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) as member services manager

In this newly created position, Spera will be responsible for development of new programs and services to existing members and coordinating regular updates of the AASA Web site. Her duties will include supervising production of the “Automotive Aftermarket Status Report” AASA’s annual publication of information and analysis of future trends in the automotive aftermarket and membership directory.
Spera will work with Babcox Publications on the annual joint publication, “Top 100 Aftermarket Suppliers.” She also will work closely with the joint operating committee of the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo, the annual trade show representing the $250 billion North American retail and service aftermarket co-sponsored by MEMA and AASA.
Spera comes to AASA from The Exceleration Group, Cary, N.C., a business consulting and market analysis organization, where she served as manager of marketing and client services. Spera has managed marketing and strategic projects for organizations in the telecommunications, airline, automotive and information technology industries. She is a graduate of Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Mich.
