The SVAC truck locking system, which allows fleets to determine the who, when and where a truck’s cargo door is opened, has been introduced by Intellikey Corp. and Flash Comm Inc.
SVAC, which stands for Site Verification Access Control, features a self-locking device with a specially programmed key. When the key is inserted into the SVAC unit, the light will turn green and open the door only when the truck is in the appropriate location and when the criteria match pre-programmed coordinates.
