Terion Exceeds 65,000 Installed Trailer Systems
Terion Inc., a Texas-based provider of trailer management systems, said it has surpassed 65,000 installed FleetView units
Terion Inc., a Texas-based provider of trailer management systems, said it has surpassed 65,000 installed FleetView units.
Included in that figure are recent orders from two existing customers.
XTRA Lease purchased an additional 4,000 FleetView units to be installed over the next several months, while J.B. Hunt ordered about 1,500 additional units as it continues the installation of FleetView in the company's trailer fleet.
These installations will bring the number of Terion units in the field to more than 65,000, representing more Terion trailer management units installed than all of the current competitor units combined, according to the Plano, Texas-based company.
"The additional orders represent a continued validation of the Terion solution in providing a concrete, sustainable return on investment for our customers," said Ken Cranston, president and CEO of Terion Inc. "FleetView delivers payback by reducing trailer-to-tractor ratios, increasing trailer revenue miles, increasing detention charges, as well as assisting in improving trailer cargo security."
