ObjectFX Corp., a leader in delivering dynamic location-enabled enterprise information solutions, has announced that Terion Inc., the leading provider of trailer fleet management systems, has deployed ObjectFX technology
in the next-generation version of its web-based FleetView 3(TM) trailer management solution.
The new version of Terion's trailer management service combines Terion's wireless technology with SpatialFX, the patented Java/J2EE geospatial software platform from ObjectFX. The system provides location information, travel history, load status, expected delivery time, and other data in a highly interactive geospatial view.
"Terion is the market leader and a proven innovator in the trailer fleet management field, and we are pleased that they have selected ObjectFX technology as a key component of their tracking and management service,” said ObjectFX president and COO Nick Thomey.
"With ObjectFX technology we were able to integrate advanced real-time visualization right into the FleetView 3 application and offer a wealth of mapping features. The ability to layer in these features along with real-time business information in a Web-based environment was critical to a successful deployment," said Terion president and CEO Ken Cranston.
