Commercial truck dealer TEC Equipment has signed an agreement with Cottrell Inc. to sell Cottrell auto transport equipment and related parts at its Portland, Ore., location.
TEC Equipment will also service and repair Cottrell equipment in Portland.

TEC Equipment has plans to expand Cottrell sales and service to one or more of its seven other dealerships in Oregon, Nevada and California.

TEC Equipment opened its full service auto transport equipment division in 2001. Since then, the division has grown to be a supplier of auto transport equipment parts for all makes of equipment including Cottrell, Boydstun and Sun Valley. TEC Equipment has also established itself as the preferred repair and service facility for auto transport equipment, TEC says.

"With the addition of the Cottrell product lineup, our auto transport equipment division has come full circle," said David Thompson, TEC president and CEO. "The relationship allows us to expand market presence while opening the Western U.S. market to Cottrell parts, service and sales."
