Adopting a turbo turtle could mean big bucks for the winners, even if they’re not on the Big Island at the time.
The Turbo Turtle Race takes place on Wednesday, March 17, at the Truckload Carriers Assn.'s (TSA) annual convention at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Kona, Hawaii.
The TCA Scholarship Fund will host the race and a continental breakfast sponsored by ArvinMeritor and DNV Certification. Members should have received individually numbered Turbo Turtle Adoption Forms in the mail. Chances of winning increases with the number of turtles purchase, and participants don’t need to be present in Hawaii to win.
