The Truckload Carriers Association is offering a seminar for fleet and driver managers March 25-26 in Dallas.

"The Highly Effective Fleet Manager" will cover topics such as the roles and goals of fleet management, the role of the fleet manager as leader, leadership and communication skills, developing best practices, improving driver performance and coaching skills.
"The fleet manager and front line managers are the primary link between driver productivity and performance in any trucking organization," TCA notes. "With a fleet size of 40 to 45 drivers, the fleet manager is literally running a $5,000,000+ business."
TCA notes that while the training is directed at fleet and driver managers, anybody within the organization that manages people or is responsible for operations will benefit. This is the only time this seminar will be offered this year.
