The Truckload Carriers Assn. is offering leadership seminars in Atlanta and Chicago in 2005.
The TCA's Leadership and Executive Development Trucking Academy is sponsoring interactive leadership sessions developed by Bill Webb, president of the Texas Motor Transportation Association. Webb, speaks throughout the U.S. on a variety of trucking-related issues, including driver recruiting and retention, leadership, media relations
and management.
According to course literature, the course will cover:
* Understanding and Applying the Five Practices Common to Successful Leaders
* Conquering the 5 Greatest Leadership Challenges
* Creating a Great Customer Environment for the Outside and Inside Customer
* Dealing With the Media
In Atlanta sessions will be on Feb. 16-17, 2005 at the Sheraton Gateway Airport. However reservations for those sessions should have been made by Dec. 28, 2004.
The Chicago sessions will take place June 15-16, 2005 at the Four Points Sheraton O'Hare. Reservations should be made by June 1, 2005.
