The Truckload Carriers Assn. (TCA) is presenting its new Leadership and Executive Development Trucking Academy June 17 and 18 in Chicago.
This program, designed specifically for the trucking industry, will be held at the Sheraton Four Points.
Sponsored by Commercial Carrier Journal, the goal of the interactive program is to provide trucking leaders with the tools needed to survive and thrive in today's challenging, fast-paced business environment.
Program participants will have the opportunity to gain insight into understanding and applying the five practices common to successful leaders; conquering the five greatest leadership challenges; creating a great customer environment for the outside and inside customer; and dealing with the media.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a CEO panel featuring four nationally renown trucking leaders. They include Dan England, chief executive officer of C.R. England Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah; Lance Craig, president of Craig Transportation, Perrysburg, Ohio; David McCorkle, chief executive officer of McCorkle Truck Line Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Clifton Parker, president and general manager of G & P Trucking. Inc., Columbia, S.C.
TCA developed this program with Bill Webb, who is president of the Texas Motor Transportation Assn. and a well-known trucking industry leader.
