The Truckload Carriers Assn. will present a video conference called Recruitment Success in a Tight Driver Market on Wednesday, April 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. (EST).

The panel of experts that will discuss the best practices for driver recruiting include Kelly Anderson, president and CEO of Impact Transportation Solutions, Neosho, Mo.; Tom Kretsinger Jr., president and COO of American Central Transport Inc., Liberty, Mo.; and Gary Salisbury, senior VP and COO of Fikes Truck Line Inc., Hope, Ark.
Main topics on the conference agenda are auditing the recruiting department, monitoring advertising, determining staff levels, streamlining the application process and following up with the drivers who got away.
The registration fee entitles as many employees as you would like to listen to the conference via speakerphone. Listeners also can ask questions during the audio conference, which is designed to be an interactive experience.
