They were looking for an application that could address their peak season requirements of more than 1000 daily deliveries as well as their unique requirements specific to the furniture industry. They wanted to optimize their routes and efficiently sequence their stops, geocode accurately and work from high quality digital maps. The solution to their challenge was the scalable A.MAZE constrained fleet route optimization solution from GEOCOMtms.
Initially Tanguay will use the A.Maze Routes program to optimize all its delivery routes. Next the company will integrate the A.MAZE Zones module to allow us more efficient design of its territories. The company saw an 11 percent improvement during a trial run of the system.

"GEOCOMtms was the only solution provider that delivered the technology to scale and the functionality we required in our selection process." Bogdan continued, "we were looking for a minimum 5% improvement and obtained 7% on a recently restructured and improved area.
