Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week organizers report strong supplier response, with an increase of over 23% of the HDAW 2012 Product Expo exhibit spaces reserved by over 97 HDAW exhibiting suppliers during the same registration period for the 2011 conference.
Surveyed suppliers plan again to use the HDAW Product Expo to introduce their latest products and programs and to promote new services. HDAW'12 provides heavy-duty suppliers the opportunity to display their product lines to the top heavy-duty aftermarket distributors in the US.
"We are very encouraged at the early and positive response by the supplier community this far in advance of the conference," said Mike Betts, HDAW'12 co-chairman. "We expect the numbers will continue to grow, which speaks well to the continuing success of the event, even in light of the headwinds in a difficult business climate."
Conference organizers have also officially opened supplier registration for its one-on-one meetings. Participation in the pre-scheduled meetings between suppliers and distributors is expected to exceed the more than the 1,600+ meetings held last year.
One-on-one meeting participation is limited to exhibiting suppliers and distributors that are members of one of the 14 HDAW sponsor organizations.
HDAW '12 will be held at the Mirage, Las Vegas, Nev., Monday, Jan. 20 through Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
