Strouhal Tire Inc., based in Hungerford, Texas, has selected Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) to expand the company's retreading operations.
Strouhal Tire is consolidating two Bandag operations in the Houston area to one facility at its main office in Hungerford.
"We are very pleased to add Strouhal Tire to our growing MRT network in North America," said Tom Brennan, president of MRT. "The MRT retreading system enables customers to reduce their operating costs with a focus on improving quality and tire performance."
Michelin continues to grow the MRT franchise network with special focus on the independent dealer. There are more than 200 points of sale in North America for Michelin retreads.
