Stars & Stripes Show Truck Events, LLC has announced a roster of Truck Beauty Competitions for 2005, with five venues around the country.


* The first event of 2005 will be the Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship at the Mid-America Trucking Show, Louisville, Ky., March 31 - April 2. More than 120 show trucks will be on display, competing for recognition and awards. In addition to the Truck Beauty Championship, Stars & Stripes will present Mid-America's Big-Rig Build-Off, featuring six never-before-seen independently customized trucks. The best of the group will be decided by the public.
* The second stop on the tour will bring Stars & Stripes to the North American Truck Show, April 28 - 30, at the new Boston Convention Center. This show brings gorgeous trucks indoors in a beautiful, brand-new location.
* Next is The Truck Show in Las Vegas June 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center with the largest indoor gathering of spectacular working show trucks anywhere.
* In August TruckerFest at Hot August Nights will return to the Alamo Petro, Reno/Sparks, Nev. on August 5-6. Once again it will feature Cruises through downtown Reno and under the famous arch as cheering crowds welcome truckers in unparalleled style.
* The season wraps up at Bosselman's/Pilot Travel Center, Grand Island Neb., Sept. 15-16. Bosselman's offers a first class setting with all the amenities any trucker could ask for.
