Dana Corp.'s Spicer Driveshaft Group has introduced a new eFulfillment Center at its www.spicerdriveshaft.com website that simplifies and accelerates the ordering and delivery of sales and service literature, videos and other items.
Once connected to the site, users from anywhere in the world can simply click the "literature on-line" link to access the center. Users may then order the desired items, which are shipped within 24 hours. Registration takes minutes, requiring only a user name and password.
Seventeen separate publications, videos and CDs currently are available under the heading of "Service." Information ranges from lubrication guidelines and service manuals for all Spicer and Spicer Life Series driveshafts to installation techniques and troubleshooting guidelines. The "Miscellaneous" section allows visitors to order a ruler to properly determine driveshaft size. And for those wanting to spruce up their work areas, a poster of Spicer Life components also is available.
Most of the printed information is available for download in PDF format, making for quick and easy viewing.
Joe Metzger, president of Point-to-Point Mailing Services, Inc., designed the website and also warehouses and ships all available products. "We can now say with complete confidence that all orders will be shipped the next day, 100 percent of the time," said Metzger. "We have online tracking of all orders to make certain that our inventory levels are always where they need to be."
