The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Assn. (SC&RA) will host its 18th Annual Specialized Transportation Symposium, March 3-5

, at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, Albuquerque, N.M.
The event is expected to attract more than 350 specialized carriers, state and federal government officials, researchers, manufacturers and suppliers.
The schedule includes sessions on such topics as:
* Regulations Concerning Hours of Service, On Board Recorders and Permits
* Litigation Issues Facing Carriers
* Heavy Truck Accident Reconstruction
* Steps for Developing a Safety Culture
* Pilot Car Training Programs
Featured speaker, motivational humorist Bryan Townsend will present “Hitchin’ Up a Winning Team -- 3-Point Plan for Teamwork.” The Exhibit Center will feature companies that supply products and services to specialized carriers.
Registration fees are $345 for members and $245 for each additional member, $290 for Safety & Management Council members, $405 for nonmembers, $75 for government employees and $110 for spouses.
