Attendees at The Work Truck Show 2009 in Chicago voted the Mega Blade Revolution snow plow from Sno-Way International, Inc. (Hartford, WI) the most innovative product
introduced at the show, making it the winner ofThe Work Truck Show 2009 New Product Innovation Award.
Sno-Way's Revolution plow has a unique design with more than eight patented features. It is a straight plow with hydraulic wings integrated on each end. The wings can be moved infinitely within a 150-degree range of motion. Another set of accessory wings can be added to the standard wings to increase plowing capacity. As a result, the plow's angle can be as narrow as 7 feet 10 inches or as wide as 11 feet 4 inches. It can be put in a straight, scoop or box position and can angle left or right with the touch of a button using the optional wireless controller.
"With the Revolution plow, we've built something new from the ground up," says Mike Stevens, vice president of sales and marketing for Sno-Way International. "It's truly a 'revolution' in snow plow design that lets customers move more snow than they can with any other plow."
Company testing has found that the Revolution can move more than 5.4 cubic yards of snow versus approximately 2.4 cubic yards cleared by other plows.
The Work Truck Show 2009, North America's largest work truck event, was held in conjunction with the 45th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention March 3-6 at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago, IL.
To choose the winner of the 2009 New Product Innovation Award, show attendees voted for the most innovative of 75 products introduced by exhibitors through the New Product Spotlight program.
"We are delighted to have won The Work Truck Show 2009 New Product Innovation Award," says Stevens. "The win demonstrates that people who came to the show looking for new products could tell right away that the Mega Blade Revolution is truly innovative."
