Smithway Motor Xpress Corp. of Fort Dodge, Iowa, has signed a multi-year agreement with TripPak Online, document management services.
Smithway Motor Xpress’s 1,500-truck fleet concentrates primarily on the flatbed market.
TripPak Online provides a comprehensive document service for truckload carriers, including overnight scanning and an integrated software system for time-sensitive handling.
TripPak Online works with sister service TripPak Express, which has drop boxes at truckstops around the country where drivers drop paperwork from completed deliveries. TripPak Express carries the paperwork back to carrier headquarters on an expedited basis.
TripPak Online adds an electronic option. Paperwork from the drop boxes is delivered to a processing center in Wilmington, Ohio, where all documents are scanned overnight and sent to the carrier electronically.
TripPak Online and TripPak Express are services of Truckload Management Inc., Brentwood, Tenn.
