SMC3, Atlanta, announced its inaugural Loss Prevention Conference, to be held in Atlanta at the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel, Oct, 20-22.
SMC3 developed this addition to its menu of conferences and seminars to provide educational content on freight loss and damage prevention for the transportation industry and former members of the Loss Prevention Conference.
The Loss Prevention Conference's agenda offers educational sessions designed to help attendees develop strategies, techniques and best practices for preventing and resolving the claims issues which affect them most. The topics currently slated for this event include concealed damages, drop trailer liability, processing cargo claims, a released rate update, understanding recoverable damages, and OS&D. Sessions will include a claims liability workshop and a claims legal update.
The Loss Prevention Conference will also include interactive small group discussions and Q&A sessions on specific techniques for identifying workable prevention solutions and implementing an effective preventative program. SMC3 will partner with the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council to offer the CCP Primer Course prior to the conference and the CCP Exam immediately following the conference. All Loss Prevention Conference attendees are eligible to receive 13.25 CCPAC credits.
