SkyBitz Signs 5 New Fleets
Trailer tracking technology provider SkyBitz Inc., Dulles, Va., announced that five new customers installed SkyBitz's patented GLS (Global Location Systems) tracking system

Mesilla Valley Transportation, Driveline International, Royal Trucking, Stage Call Corp. and Seahorse Transport Inc. have joined SkyBitz's transportation customer base, which already included trucking companies such as Landstar Systems and Pacer Transport.
Mesilla Valley Transportation, a large, locally-owned transportation provider in Western Texas and Southern New Mexico, is using SkyBitz's GLS technology to increase operational efficiency to guarantee time-sensitive transportation between major manufacturing areas in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Texas-based Driveline International said it has already recovered three stolen trailers. Driveline International services the United States and particular areas of Mexico and Canada.
Royal Trucking is one of the largest contract carriers in Mississippi. Seahorse Transport has experienced positive results since it has installed the GLS technology. Stage Call Corp. is a full-service trucking company for the entertainment industry.
SkyBitz said that these fleets bring its client roster up to approximately 30.
SkyBitz GLS requires less onboard power than GPS technology. SkyBitz onboard tracking units run on AA batteries.
