Sirius XM Radio is taking its Road Dog Trucking Radio on the road for a special series of live broadcasts from Texas, with appearances at Willie Nelson's truckstop Willie's Place and The Great American Trucking Show.
Road Dog Trucking Radio can be heard on Sirius channel 147 and XM channel 17.
The first broadcast, "Freewheelin' with Meredith Ochs & Chris T.," will be from Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, Texas, on August 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time. Willie's Place is Willie Nelson's biodiesel truckstop, featuring the Blue Skies Cafe, Whiskey River Saloon and Night Life Theater. Truckers will be able to stop in and watch the show in progress, step up to the guest microphone and join in on the conversation.
Listeners can also tune in to "Freewheelin'" at GATS in Dallas on August 21 and 22. Freewheelin' with Meredith Ochs and Chris T. is a daily high-energy talk show for truckers featuring news, pop culture topics and guests from the world of trucking, music, and more.
GATS will also feature Sirius XM's "The Lockridge Report," with veteran trucking journalist Evan Lockridge. He will broadcast August 20 and 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time. He will also be giving Sirius XM Trucking News reports throughout August 20 and 21, at the top of most hours and twice in the mornings, keeping listeners up to date on the latest developments from the truck show plus trucking industry news.
