SiriCOMM Teams With TruckersB2B to Offer InTouch to Fleets
SiriCOMM Inc., an applications service provider and nationwide broadband wireless network operator serving the highway transportation industry, has been selected by TruckersB2B as the wireless Internet access vendor for its member fleets

SiriCOMM Inc., an applications service provider and nationwide broadband wireless network operator serving the highway transportation industry, has been selected by TruckersB2B as the wireless Internet access vendor for its member fleets.
The announcement underscores SiriCOMM's value-added reseller strategy and its focus on providing wireless Internet access and services to truck fleets. With this agreement, more than 19,500 TruckersB2B member fleets representing over 445,000 drivers will have access to SiriCOMM's InTouch wireless service at a discounted member rate.
SiriCOMM expects the TruckersB2B program to achieve significant penetration of the small- to medium-sized trucking company market. Sales and marketing initiatives have already begun with the TruckersB2B program.
David Mendez, executive vice president of sales for SiriCOMM said, "The over-the-road trucking market is highly fragmented and is largely composed of thousands of small fleets with 25 or fewer drivers. Over the last several years, TruckersB2B has successfully met the needs of this large and growing segment of the trucking industry by marketing a limited line of products that deliver best value to its member customers. SiriCOMM is proud to be a part of the TruckersB2B program. Inclusion in this program is the most efficient manner for SiriCOMM to extend its sales reach into the small to medium-sized fleet market."
"TruckersB2B is continually seeking new partners that provide a competitive advantage and add value to our members," said Jon Russell, president and COO for TruckersB2B. "SiriCOMM offers a comprehensive data communication service that will help our members become more effective and efficient business operators, and we are eager to begin marketing it to our members."
