SiriCOMM Inc., Joplin, Mo., has introduced prepaid InTouch Internet access accounts. SiriCOMM is a wireless network and applications provider that also offers wireless Internet access hot spots at various locations.
SiriCOMM Wi-Fi Hot Spots are presently installed at 255 Pilot Travel Centers nationwide as well as independently operated travel centers, truck fleet terminals, and select roadside weigh stations that feature PrePass. The Company plans to continue installing hot spots, focusing on high-traffic locations frequented by truck drivers and other industry stakeholders.
SiriCOMM InTouch accounts can be purchased in three denominations: daily, monthly, or yearly. The daily plan includes 24 continuous hours of access at any SiriCOMM Wi-Fi hot spot and costs $6.95. The monthly plan gives the convenience of unlimited access at all SiriCOMM Wi-Fi Hot Spots for only $24.95. SiriCOMM InTouch yearly accounts are $189.95.
Until now, SiriCOMM hot spot Internet access was only available to credit card holders. Prepaid accounts can be purchased at Pilot Travel Centers or set up using credit cards on the SiriCOMM Web site at www.siricomm.com.
