Setco Automotive and AMS Automotive have teamed up to market and distribute Lipe Clutch products in the heavy duty aftermarket.
The lineup of LIPE clutches include over 100 configurations that are compatible with a broad cross-section of truck makes, models, and engines, for both on and off-road vehicles. Optional LIPE variations are designed for a range of applications that include ceramic and organic friction material, pull or push style actuation, as well as diaphragm or coil spring designs. Coverage is available for 13" thru 15.5" configurations for Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Ford, GM, Mack and Navistar engines.
Lipe clutch products are available for medium to heavy duty commercial applications (13" 14" and 15.5") and offer ease of installation, one person positive adjustment, two-year/unlimited mileage warranty, and a toll-free technical support line.
"AMS Automotive comes with years of aftermarket experience and marketing prowess unmatched in the industry," said Paul Wood, Setco CEO. "We believe this agreement will leverage the high quality attribute of our products and the exceptional marketing expertise from AMS to increase awareness of the Lipe Clutch brand."
"This agreement expands on our focus of adding value to the aftermarket," said Chris Jackson, AMS vice president. "Utilizing Setco's legendary reputation for quality and innovation at the OE level allows AMS to offer a proven product line with increased service levels, convenience, availability and sales/marketing support. The Lipe brand nicely complements our extensive lineup of manual transmission products."
Setco acquired the Lipe Clutch Division of Dana Corp. in 2005.
