The Truckload Carriers Assn.’s annual Safety Council meeting next month will explore the theme of “Truck Safety: Securing America’s Frontlines.”
The 19th annual meeting will be held May 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque in Albuquerque, N.M. In addition to traditional safety issues, the meeting will look at new responsibilities since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Topics to be discussed include driver background checks, the new role of the safety director, optimizing the 24/7 workforce, the Frontlines of Trucking and the ABC’s of risk management.
