United States Secretary of Energy Dr. Steven Chu will give the keynote address at the 2012 Green Truck Summit on Monday, March 5 at The Work Truck Show 2012.
Dr. Chu is a distinguished scientist and co-winner of the 1997 Nobel Prize for Physics. As United States Secretary of Energy, he is charged with helping implement President Barack Obama's ambitious agenda to invest in clean energy, reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil, address the global climate crisis and create millions of new jobs.
The Green Truck Summit is considered the leading educational forum on "green" technology and initiatives for the commercial truck industry. Jointly produced by NTEA and CALSTART, the Summit includes 29 educational sessions. The sessions showcase new technology and provide information on reducing fuel consumption, improving fleet management, comparing clean technology options, funding clean vehicles and more.

The Work Truck Show, North America's largest work truck event, runs March 6-8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
