BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires is once again searching for the "coolest" owner/operator rigs in North America for its Cool Rigs Calendar contest.
Winners will be featured in the 2005 Cool Rigs Calendar.
"Because of the large number of requests from owner/operators, BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires is bringing back the Cool Rigs Calendar contest as a showcase for the creativity and pride of truck drivers throughout North America," said Marc Laferriere, vice president of marketing for BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires. "Past Cool Rigs winners have been rolling expressions of the personalities of their owners who have turned ordinary trucks into works of art."
Sixty first-place winners will be chosen in the contest by a panel of independent judges – 40 in the United States, 10 in Canada and 10 in Mexico. The first-place winners will receive a Cool Rigs duffel bag, a Cool Rigs travel thermos and a Cool Rigs Mag-Lite.
The panel of judges will also choose six grand prizewinners. Each grand prizewinner will drive away with 10 free BFGoodrich Commercial truck tires. Winners will have their rig, biography and personal photo featured in the 2005 Cool Rigs Calendar and will also receive 50 calendars, a framed photo of their rig and a chance to be featured in the 2005 BFGoodrich advertising campaign.
No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Entrants must be 21 or older as of April 1, 2004 and must be the owner of a Class 8 truck that is operational and in commercial use
Drivers interested in entering their rigs in the contest should make them look as sharp as possible and then access the Cool Rigs website at www.coolrigscontest.com. The site provides contest details, a past winner’s gallery, downloadable entry forms, official rules and online entry.
Entrants can complete an entry form on the site and upload a digital photo of their rig. Additionally, owner/operators can print an entry form from the site, include a photo of their rig and mail it to BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires.
