Schneider Logistics Offers Supply Chain View with New Online Application
Schneider Logistics, Green Bay, Wis., has introduced Supply Chain Integrator, a new Web-enabled application that brings product-level visibility to every point along the supply chain

"Essentially, our Supply Chain Integrator allows our customers to replace inventory with information," said Chris Lofgren, CEO of Schneider Logistics. "Inbound materials have long been a black hole to many manufacturers, but with Supply Chain Integrator, you can see order shortages, substitutions or ship date non-conformances long before the freight lands."
Supply Chain Integrator is offered as an option in MySUMIT, Schneider Logistics' online suite of proprietary supply chain management applications, which include Rate Server; Planner and Optimizer; Transportation Manager; and Supply Chain Integrator, which combines all these applications into one technology.
Rate Server, MySUMIT's base-line application, allows for centralized storage of rates and access to real-time rate quotes. Newly web-enabled, Rate Server gives shippers consistency and simplicity in order management, shipment planning, and freight payment and billing functions. Carriers can use Rate Server to simply manage customer contracts and provide rate quotes.
Planner and Optimizer enables shippers to determine the best-cost solution for a set of shipments at any time, with any number of shipments, at set times or by manual kickoff.
Transportation Manager adds order entry, order tracking and more robust performance reporting to the Rate Server and Planner and Optimizer products.
