Schneider Brokerage Launches FreightPlace
Schneider Brokerage, a division of Schneider National Inc., Green Bay, Wisc., has launched FreightPlace, a tool to aid carriers in matching shipments to capacity

FreightPlace is part of a suite of Web-based applications to help brokerage carriers secure loads and do business with Schneider. FreightPlace is free and available at http://www.schneidercarriers.com .
According to Schneider, FreightPlace enables carriers to anonymously find loads. Carriers can easily view potential loads in real-time and connect with one of Schneider's freight brokerage associates via online chat or telephone to obtain more information and negotiate pricing. FreightPlace allows registered carriers to post capacity. The service automatically identifies loads that match that availability. If a match is not found immediately, FreightPlace continues to monitor new loads and alerts a Schneider associate when a potential capacity match is found for the load. Carriers also can monitor their posted capacities and view matching loads.
