The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Assn. (SC&RA) will host its Annual Conference at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Fla., April 20 – 24.
This conference is the international gathering of professionals from the crane and rigging and specialized transportation industry, annually attracting more than 500 SC&RA members and non-members.
This year promises to offer a comprehensive program of activities:
-- The annual Products Fair with more than 60 international exhibitors, the poolside President’s Reception, and breakfasts featuring world-class speakers sponsored by Link-Belt Construction Equipment and Trail King Industries.
-- Educational sessions by well-known authors, consultants and experts.
-- Association and SC&R Foundation Board and Committee meetings, scheduled to discuss budgetary items, legislative and regulatory concerns, accomplishments during 2003 and the progress of 2004 programs.
-- Several outdoor events to include a championship golf tournament, a tennis tournament sponsored by Emmert International and a 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Buckner HeavyLift Cranes.
-- Dinner/Dance, hosted by the SC&RA Ladies Group, will introduce a Live Auction, proceeds to benefit the SC&R Foundation.
-- The Annual Awards and Recognition dinner where the prestigious Job of the Year Competition winners will be awarded .
Conference registration is $575 for SC&RA members and $325 for member spouses. Non-members will be charged $680 and non-member spouses $430. After April 2, registration fees will increase to $625 for members and $730 for non-members.
Rooms at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa must be reserved by March 19, 2004 to receive the group discount. All conference registration forms can be obtained from the association web site at www.scranet.org, or by calling the association office at (703) 698-0291.
The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) is an international trade association of nearly 1,100 members from 43 nations. Members are involved in specialized transportation, machinery moving and erecting, industrial maintenance, millwrighting and crane and rigging operations, manufacturing and rental.
