A San Antonio, TX, area truck dealer plans to open a $3.3 million dealership and service center on the city's south side.

Janoe Isuzu and Kenworth Trucks is developing a 48,000-square-foot facility near FM 1516 and Loop 1604 in Southeast San Antonio. The new facility, the company's first big expansion since it was founded 22 years ago, is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year.
The new dealership and service center will let the company increase the number of trucks it sells and services. Janoe will operate a night shift for parts and repair service at the new facility, which will expand its service hours until 1 a.m. The new facility also will include two lounge areas for truckers, with TVs, recliners, and computer terminals and work areas.
The new location is twice as big as the company's current facility in south central San Antonio, which will remain in operation. The company will relocate its new truck sales department to the new location. The current location will house the used-truck sales department and also be kept for use as a body shop.
