"We’ve reached a milestone in our history as an organization," said Ray Morris, executive vice president/chief operating officer of SAE International. "With activities spanning all areas of the mobility industry — automobiles, aerospace, commercial vehicle and motorsports — our members now have access to a level of cutting-edge information unheard of a century ago."
To commemorate its centennial, SAE has planned special events at several conferences and expositions throughout the year. From several gala events to specially commissioned 100th anniversary artwork and an interactive, traveling exhibit, there will be ample opportunities to join SAE in toasting its first century.
