Ryder System, Miami, Fla., has opened a new service facility in Zanesville, Ohio.
The facility incorporates Ryder's preventive and programmed maintenance, rental operations, lease/finance and dedicated contract carriage operations.
The new Zanesville location replaces Ryder's former location at 4560 West Pike. Built on 5 acres and located at 4196 East Pike, the facility services more than 45 Ryder customers, including New Bakery Co. of Ohio, AutoZone and Sherwood Food Distributors.
The facility offers a diverse fleet of over 400 vehicles including panel vans, light- and heavy-duty straight trucks, tractors and trailers. It also includes a highly automated "paperless" maintenance shop with three drive-through service bays, a two-lane computerized fuel service island and a wash bay.
