Rostra Precision Controls, the safety and comfort systems supplier, has formed a distribution partnership with Mobileye Inc., which provides vision-based driver assistance systems.
Through the agreement, Rostra customers will have access to Mobileye's line of AWS systems. Mobileye will also have access to Rostra's port-installed accessory capabilities.

Mobileye offers several tools to help alert drivers to potentially life-threatening situations, including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Headway Monitoring (HMW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) systems.

Mobileye's aftermarket line is led by the recently introduced C2-170, a driver-safety system developed specifically for passenger and fleet vehicles. The C2-170 is a modern, comprehensive, single camera-based safety solution for accident prevention and mitigation. The new product employs "EyeWatch1," a premium-quality, high visibility windshield or dash mounted visual display unit.

A three-in-one safety solution for accident prevention and mitigation, C2-170 provides drivers with warnings against collision with a vehicle ahead, unintended lane-departure and insufficient distance-keeping.
