After Rocky Mountain Parts Specialists acquired Truman Parts Company out of Brigham City, Utah, in November, they decided to relocate the business to Lindon, Utah, south of Salt Lake City. In the process, they also expanded into a 20,000-square-foot facility with an enhanced inventory over $600,000.
As part of the move, Rocky Mountain Parts Specialists, a member of HDA Truck Pride, added Kerry Ross as general manager and Joel Memmott as sales manager.
"Having seasoned professionals like Kerry and Joel is .., a beneficial enhancement to rapidly reseed the business," says Tina Alread, director of sales and marketing at HDT Truck Pride. . "They are both knowledgeable about the industry and have developed long-time, solid relationships with customers, as well as vendors."
In the new facility, Rocky Mountain Parts Specialists is now able to diversify its product line matrix and expand inventory coverage. Sweeping changes have been made across all product lines and categories, including the addition of suspension parts, hydraulics, batteries and accessories.
The new location also includes an impressive 4,000-square-foot showroom to display all of its retail products and offer convenience to retail customers.
