According to @Road, the iLM 2500 has been granted equipment authorization by the Federal Communications Commission and supports all FleetASAP features, including location, monitoring, messaging, reporting and scheduling.
The new unit, which resists moisture and dust, is small and designed to simplify and reduce installation time. The iLM 2500 provides connectivity to the @Road LocationSmart network, which combines wireless, positioning and XML technologies with the Internet.
The @Road iLM 2500 is available at a limited introductory offer price of $349 until June 30. The price includes the iLM 2500, GPS and CDPD antennae and installation. FleetASAP monthly service fees start at $33.95 per month.
