Road Watch America has unveiled a web site of interest to all motorists. Called RWA DIRECT, the free service provides road condition, construction and weather links for all states and most major cities. The site also provides “hot spot” information to alert motorists to problem congestion areas as well as high incident traffic areas. The web address is http://rwa.metronetworks.com/rwadirect.html
Information for the web site is gathered from Metro Network’s traffic management centers located in over 60 cities throughout the U.S. Metro’s resources include the broadcast industry’s largest fleet of aircraft, on-the-scene mobile units, numerous camera systems throughout the United States and state-of-the-art computerized studios in each market. Information is also included from DOT and DPS offices across the country.
