Rip Griffin Travel Centers announced that its new Prescott, Ark., location will open for business April 18.
The $8 million, 40,000-square foot project is the first Rip Griffin Travel Center in Arkansas and is located at exit 44 on I-30 West.
The Country Fare restaurant in Prescott is introducing the first "Country Hearth Oven" in the company. The expanded "hearth-prepared menu" makes the Prescott 220-seat restaurant a real family dining choice for locals, according to the company.
The main building includes a combination Travel Store and Convenience Store that boasts more than 3000 square feet of retail space, offering a full convenience store, accessories and supplies, travel items, clothing, electronics, as well as novelty and gift items. Also, located in the main building is a TV driver's lounge, large video Arcade, phone room, 11 showers, laundry facilities, Western Union, ATM, Sweet Shop and a Subway Restaurant.
The Fuel Center is detached from the main building and is set up to accommodate the professional drivers. The professional driver will find products tailored to meet needs, scales, 12 diesel lanes with full service fueling and 186 parking spaces and all of the professional driver services offered by Rip Griffin Travel Centers.
The Rip Griffin Truck Repair Shop will offer major and minor repairs, 24 hour Road Service, Chrome shop and L.E.D. lighting center, DOT truck inspections, certified A/C repairs, new and used Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin and Kumho tires, tire balancing and laser alignment, brake jobs, and oil change specials with 24 point inspections.
Rip Griffin Travel Centers now has locations in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, California, and Arkansas.
