Peterbilt of Richmond in Richmond, Va., receives the Peterbilt TruckCare Dealer of the Year award for superior aftermarket service.
The dealer received the award at the Peterbilt Motors Company annual dealer meeting.
"Every day, customers tell us how exceedingly important parts and service support is to their operations, especially in this challenging economy," said Rick Gorman, Paccar Parts general manager and Paccar vice president. "Peterbilt of Richmond set a high standard of excellence in 2008 by providing a consistently superior level of service as rated by customers."
Peterbilt of Richmond is a member of The Pete Store family of dealerships, a Peterbilt dealer group with locations in Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Peterbilt of Richmond has an exclusive partnership with Peterbilt and Paccar Parts, according to John Arscott, president of Peterbilt of Richmond.
"Among other things, this relationship allows us to fully integrate our parts inventory management system with Paccar Parts, resulting in optimum stocking levels," he said. "Our team also has access to an intranet which allows them to do comprehensive parts research and an online survey tool to gather feedback from our customers on a continual basis."
